David's career in market research began in 1988 at NRG's predecessor, Western Opinion Research, where he played a key role in the growth and development of field operations. After 11 years with the Angus Reid Group/IPSOS Reid, becoming Vice President of CATI, he brought his expertise back to NRG. David now oversees NRG's expanding data processing capabilities and field operations, ensuring NRG always has the internal capacity required to meet client needs.

As NRG's operations manager, David has launched hundreds of studies including customer satisfaction projects with specialized needs, business-to-business studies with hard to target respondents, large quantitative public opinion studies and complicated mixed methodology telephone/Internet assignments. Regardless of the size or type of the project, ensuring quality and customer satisfaction are the primary goals of the operations group.

In addition to his research qualifications, David studied urban planning and economics at the University of Winnipeg. David has coached high school football for 13 years, and unwinds by testing his luck at the poker table.
