As Senior Vice President, Heather leads NRG’s Vancouver office. In her role, she is intimately involved in supporting NRG’s project teams and ensuring that each client project receives the oversight and resources needed to be successful. She works closely with NRG’s research teams across all four offices to ensure that every client project has a unique and customized research plan that meets the client’s needs and budgets, and that provides the most valuable insights possible. She is passionate about the research industry and is always exploring how advanced analytics and technology can enhance projects. In addition to supporting research staff across the organization, Heather is also responsible for NRG’s corporate affairs, including branding, communication, human resources, and strategic growth initiatives.

Prior to joining NRG in her current role, Heather spent more than 25 years working within Canadian blue chip companies. Over the course of her career, she has led teams in marketing, communications, sponsorship, philanthropy, government relations, and media relations. Among her proudest accomplishments, Heather was instrumental in RBC’s sponsorship of the 2010 Olympic Winter Games and played a major role in establishing the RBC GranFondo cycling events, which brought the first mass-cycling events to Canada. Heather’s experience in such a wide variety of corporate roles gives her a strong perspective on client service as well as corporate affairs, making her exceptionally qualified for her role at NRG.

In addition to her career accomplishments, Heather is also a leader in the community. She is the past-chair of Vancouver’s annual fireworks festival (and Canada’s largest public event), the Honda Celebration of Light. She is also a Director of Arts Umbrella, a non-profit art school for young people in Vancouver. When she’s not working or volunteering, Heather enjoys running, cycling, skiing, and yoga. She lives in Vancouver with her husband and daughter.
