Jason Saunderson joined NRG in 2017 as Vice President focusing on new business development.  He has worked in market research since 1995 in cities such as Vancouver, Toronto, Jakarta, Taipei, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Los Angeles.

Jason’s agency-side market research experience has focused on advertising & brand tracking for major consumer packaged goods (CPG) and technology companies; as well as public affairs polling for Canadian organizations with the aim of bringing strategic thinking and actionable analysis to senior management decision-making.

Jason also spent over eight years on the client-side with BlackBerry. First he was responsible for leading primary & secondary market research, competitive intelligence and industry Aanalyst relations across Asia Pacific markets. Subsequently, as Director, Government Relations he worked on addressing market access and regulatory issues facing the company’s growth and expansion into new markets.

Jason holds an M.B.A. in Science and Technology from Queen’s University and a B.Sc. in Physics from the University of British Columbia. In his free time, Jason sails his 30-foot sailboat out of Jericho Sailing Club in local and regional yacht races.
