Naomi joined NRG’s Calgary office in May 2018 as a Research Consultant. Before joining the team at NRG, she worked as a Research Analyst for Viewpoint Group, with research focused on ethical leadership practices. Prior to her time with Viewpoint, Naomi worked as an independent consultant with clients including Calgary Police Service, Centrica Energy, and Haskayne School of Business.

Naomi’s expertise spans both quantitative and qualitative research. With NRG her areas of focus have included quality of life research and researching diverse populations. She has a strong background in advanced analytics, having applied univariate/multivariate statistics, advanced quantitative statistics, and advanced research methods. She has taught Experimental Design and Quantitative Methods to undergraduates as a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary, as well as at Red Deer College.

Naomi holds an MSc in Industrial and Organizational Psychology as well as a BSc with First Class Honours from the University of Calgary. Her academic research focus was on understanding one’s motivation for power (to climb the organizational hierarchy) in the workplace.

In her spare time, you can usually find Naomi hiking, backcountry camping, snowboarding, or hanging out with her cats and dog.
