Svea joined NRG Research Group in March 2016. Svea’s interest in research started while conducting interviews for a clinical onsite research project. She gained firsthand experience in field management and data collection integrity in clinical settings working on a two year study for the Centre for Addictions Research of BC. Svea also has years of experience in retail and not for profit environments, in which she developed her skills in presenting and public speaking.

Svea brings strong communication skills and attention to detail to all of her projects. Her years of interviewing contribute to Svea’s ability to offer functional feedback during survey development, and she has quickly demonstrated her value in supporting all aspects of the research process.

Svea holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Victoria, majoring in psychology with a minor in business. Svea enjoys working with children and volunteers at the YMCA when she isn’t trying new restaurants and spending as much time near the ocean as possible.
