Richard McQuarrie, President
Richard McQuarrie graduated from the Financial Management program at the British Columbia Institute of Technology in 1986 and started his research career that same year with MarkTrend - a small boutique style firm - as the incumbent general manager.
By focusing on continuous and tracking research opportunities and establishing a high quality, efficient field and data processing group (including early adoption of programmable dialogic technology and one of the first virtual call centers in North America), Richard helped to grow and stabilize MarkTrend and later Synovate Canada.
Before joining NRG as President, Richard was finance and operations manager for Synovate Canada which included offices in Vancouver, Prince George, Calgary, Toronto and Halifax. As part of the global finance team, Richard was one of two professionals entrusted with conducting peer reviews for the America’s strategic unit acquisitions.
