Hui Xue, Research Manager
As Research Manager at NRG, Hui Xue serves a long list of clients in both the private and public sector. A gifted research analyst and project manager, Hui guides her clients through each step of the research process and is recognized for her ability to provide clear and useful recommendations.
Hui brings to the NRG team extensive experience in the design, management and analysis of public opinion and program evaluation studies. She is trained in the application of both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies and has directed studies on behalf of the Government of Canada, provincial government departments and ministries, municipalities, and numerous clients in the private sector.
While Hui serves clients in a range of industry sectors, she is often called upon to provide research and analytical support for studies focused on education and skills training, hospitality and tourism, public health and the environment. Prior to joining NRG, Hui worked as a research analyst with the BC Ministry of Environment designing and implementing a number of studies to understand motivators and inhibitors of environmentally sound behaviours and practices.
Prior to joining NRG, Hui held several research and analysis positions in the BC Government and with private sector research firms.
Hui holds a Masters of Resource Management (M.R.M.) degree, a Graduate Certificate in Development Studies, and a Certificate in Urban Design from Simon Fraser University.
