Adam Di Paula, PhD, Senior Vice President

Adam Di Paula began his career in market research as a junior project manager and has risen quickly through the ranks to become one of the most trusted and respected professionals in the research industry.

As Senior Vice President at NRG Research Group, Adam provides consulting and research services to a client list that includes Fortune 500 companies; leading technology firms; health care organizations; government agencies; ministries and crown corporations; marketing, advertising and public relations companies, and member associations.

Adam possesses particular expertise in the health care sector. In addition, he has extensive experience conducting research in the areas of insurance and financial services, public transportation, lotteries and gaming, education, crime and public safety, travel and tourism, city and regional planning, and technology.

Adam is well versed in the application of both quantitative and qualitative research methods, and often completes assignments that integrate these two methods.

In addition, Adam has developed a number of innovative approaches to help clients meet specific objectives. In response to a growing need in the healthcare industry for more accurate and reliable data, Adam designed PATSAT, NRG's patient satisfaction tracking system. More recently, Adam developed a model for diagnosing customer service quality problems that helps managers allocate resources to improve customer service. This model has been taught as part of the MBA program at the Stanford University School of Business.

Adam received his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Social Psychology from the University of British Columbia (UBC). He received his focus group moderation training from The Riva Institute. He has also taught at UBC and Simon Fraser University.
