Candida Sousa-Lopes, Research Manager

Candida has been with NRG since 2006 and is involved in virtually all aspects of research and project management.

In the past year, Candida has worked on various projects. For the Manitoba Lotteries Corporation (MLC) she has worked on Video Lottery Terminal Research groups and provides regular quarterly Casino Customer Satisfaction Tracking Reports. Candida has provided project management and report writing services to other clients such as, Habitat for Humanity, MTS Allstream, Pulse Canada, Canadian Federation of Agriculture and Ducks Unlimited Canada.

Candida has ten years experience conducting various quantitative and qualitative research projects and presentations for The City of Winnipeg Police and Manitoba Justice. Prior to joining NRG research, she was a Research Associate for the University of Manitoba’s Health, Leisure and Human Performance Research Institute for five years, conducting a longitudinal study on Health and Wellness.

Her research experience includes sample and questionnaire design, data analysis, secondary research, comparative analysis, content analysis, focus group recruiting and note taking, and report and proposal writing.

Candida has a Masters degree in Sociology from the University of Manitoba.
