Richard Elias, Research Consultant - Analytics
Richard Elias brings considerable expertise to his position as Research Consultant, including advanced skills in statistical analysis and quantitative and qualitative research design. He has extensive experience in data analysis, including structural equation modeling, complex regression modeling, and factor analysis. In addition, Richard has developed and implemented numerous surveys for use in experimental and community-based research.
Previously, Richard participated in a range of social research projects, primarily in academic settings. He has received a number of awards and fellowships for his research investigating a variety of social policy issues, and has been the recipient of research grants from the Government of Canada and the Government of Ontario.
Before joining NRG Research Group, Richard was a consultant to the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long Term Care on risk-based monitoring projects. His work with the Ministry involved developing and evaluating risk management strategies for health care operations, analyzing health databases, conducting program evaluations and facilitating workgroup sessions.
As a Research Consultant at NRG, Richard works closely with senior researchers to manage all aspects of research projects. Richard’s responsibilities include project management, research design, research analyses, reporting, and presenting.
Richard holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in applied social psychology from the University of Guelph.
